Sober 261 days and so proud of me.
Back from a busy day. Yoda got a great short cut. Will post photo's of him on FB later.
Had my eye exam. Nice doctor and good exam. Many changes in eyeglass script. Got a nice frame, thought I wanted rectangle frames but didn't like any I tried on so chose a more rounded frame in a gentle gold/bronze/silver finish. Got transition lens, got a great price.
Exceptional weather day here again. Hot not humid, gentle breeze, so lovely. Sorry that so much of US is under such extreme heat. Hotter up north than here.
Many of you all are going through some rough stuff. Remember we are all here for each other. Good luck Eileen with job interview.

PS..where were you 42 years ago as Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon? Hubby and I were in his parent's home watching this great moment on TV....History in the making then and history in the making tomorrow as the shuttle program ends.

I got transition lenses for the first time in january and I hate them!!!!! They dont get dark enough and I have to wear sun glasses anyway. Plus they make my eyes burn. Im not going to get them next time. Carla
Well we have 3 and a half weeks till we leave or Chicago for the wedding. So far we have 130 people coming for the wedding we need 40 more peo;ple to respond.
Im getting my clothes eady to pack or the 2 weeks Ill be gone. Gold shoes ae in the box, ready to go and so is my dress ready to go.
Lizzys dress came yesterday and she has it today. she has to get it hemmed. Her friend is going to do it or her.

Wow....lots going on in everyones lives!! Thinking & praying for all that need it.
Today is another day of experiencing pain in tummy....ugh!! The pain is a dull "toothache" like pain with occasional stabbing, almost bent double kinda pain. Today, for the 1st time, I experienced pain around the new pouch, usually the pain is on my right side, under my ribcage and radiates around to my backside. I spoke with my PCP about it on Monday when I went for med refill followup appt. and he seems to think it's adhesion's again.Prior to my WLS, I had such horrible tummy pain, and no test showed anything. Had the CT scan, etc. etc. Anyway, when I had my WLS, my surgeon found LOTS of adhesion's and took care of them, he said. I know they can grow back so not sure if this is same thing or not. Pain is a little bit different than before, especially the sharp pain and pain around the new pouch. Who knows!! I have an appt. with my surgeon on August 4Th for 2 yr followup so we'll discuss this then, just hope I can handle this until then!! OK>...enough about me.....
I want to say "CONGRATS" to Laureen & Monica!!!! Wow, how impressive to you both!!
Everyone, please stay hydrated!! We've decided to stay inside for these next few days. Even our little fur babies slow down on their walks. I take a water bottle and their collapsible doggie bowl with us on our walks. Which brings to mind, I can't believe the ppl who walk their dogs in this heat with no water. Little dogs tongues are hanging out so far they're almost tripping over them!!!!
Ok, I'll hush up. I hope everyone's having a blessed, relaxing evening!!!
